Rocket Singh remake in Telugu

Yash Raj’s moving film ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year’ will have a Telugu name.

The movie is set to be remade in Telugu and Telugu star Allari Naresh will play the role of Ranbir.

It’s not clear whether the protagonist will be a Sardar but the remake is definitely on cards with some minor changes.

The official confirmation from Yash Raj is still to come but sources from the studio had confirmed the news of the remake.

Sonia's Thoughts To Make YS Jagan As CM

The stage is set for the 5th all party meet in Delhi. Now, sources from central command reveal that Sonia is looking at making neutral statements during the meet and the objective is to prevent agitations. However, here is the main agenda of ‘Madam’ as per those who know her. 

Sonia would be preparing stage for Rosiah to offer his resignation and get Jagan into the chair. Incidentally, the importance of YSR is now being felt strongly by Sonia and she realizes that congress is losing strength and becoming a joke with many leaders singing their own songs in the name of ‘movements’.

On doing extensive groundwork, she got to know that the Jagan group is strong in people following and also the financial strength is deep due to the association with Lagadapati. It is said that Sonia is under the impression that Jagan is the only person who can set things straight. Although she kept him away after YSR’s death, now she has no other way than to make him CM, at least to check on trial and error method. However, what is there in her mind, we will know soon.

Daggubati Rana Impresses Millions On January 1st

So far, only pictures of Rana were seen but this time, he talked. After watching his program, many said that Rana has got handsome looks and clarity in thought. Many said that Rana spoke like his dad Suresh and Chinnaana Venkatesh. This has given a positive feel to ‘Leader’ as well and all are positive that Rana would have shouldered the film very well.

Priyamani ventures into Sandalwood

Priyamani is one actress who has made a mark in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The buxom beauty is also set to appear in her maiden Hindi movie. Meanwhile sources claim that she has signed up a Kannada movie as well.

Kannada is the only south Indian language she has not yet acted in though she had grown up in Bangalore. This Kannada movie will feature Puneet Rajkumar in the lead.

Meanwhile sources reveal that Priyamani is not too keen to take up another Kannada assignment since these movies usually get restricted in the state only.

We are sure Kannada fans would be excited to see Priyamani pairing up with Puneet.

No More 'Bikinis' In 2010 Films Please!!

The year 2009 saw several changes in the film industry and the tone of glamour. Top in the list was the bikini mania that began in Bollywood. Though the audience has seen bikinis on screen before, 2009 saw several heroines and notable bombshells going for the ‘bare all’ act. The fever spread to Tollywood as well but the truth is no bikini saved the film industry in 2009. Movies such as Drona, Punnaminagu, Siddu From Seekakulam etc saw many raunchy beauties showing off their hot bodies but that didn’t work a bit. So now, the film makers have decided that they would not get into the bikini act this year in their films. Even the much hyped ‘Billa’ came in with a double bikini act but that also didn’t work. Many say that bikini is just a momentary visual delight but the audience has become quite aware so they look for content, technical aspects and other things before they certify it to be a hit.
